The Best Top Paying Adsense Keywords: how 10 minutes work could increase your income by $153 per article!

Let me ask you, how do you find information on the web? Easy, you type it into google or whatever search engine and it will give you a list of sites that might answer your query.

What is the most frustrating thing when you are searching for information? To have your search engine throw back at you stuff that isn’t relevant!

That is why the search engines continually update their spidering criteria to make sure that they really understand what is on a website in terms of quality information so that the person searching for information will have the best experience possible. It’s very customer orientated, and the person searching for information is the customer.

That gives us our first point then, that if you ever have a hope of having your information found on the internet you need to make sure that you are using top key words and phrases that are going to help those spiders (the little programs that come from search engines that work out what is on your page) to be able to put your site on the first page of google for that term. As it happens, the top keywords that will help you to rank well will also help you get better value clicks, because they are usually the top paying adsense keywords. To discover a good phrase will take a bit of work to put that together, and a careful balance of writing with an eye to what is being searched for, ensuring that enough people are looking for it to make writing worthwhile, and that there isn’t too much competition. Competition incidentally can be calculated by either Page rank, competing sites, or both.

The second reason revolves around how to persuade google adsense that you want it to display the best paying google ads on your site. You need to find the top paying adsense keywords.

Prices range from 1 or 2 cents right up to dollars per adword! That means that if you don’t spend time working out which are the high paying adwords for what you are writing, then you could get dumped with a load of 1 and 2 cent wonders. And by the time you have shared your revenue (we think it’s about 40%) with Hub pages it will take you a long time to even buy a Starbucks!

There are many adwords which relate to the same niche keyword. So it might be that the phrase ‘lose weight’ is a cheaper adword than ‘diet’. In which case you will want to spend time writing your article using the word ‘diet’ rather than ‘lose weight’ so that there is more chance of that better paying ad being displayed on your Hub or webpage.

This in itself becomes another balancing act because if you are using a well paying keyword/adword, then the chances are that the market will be swamped with other people doing the same thing. As a rough guide, don’t try writing for anything over about $5 in terms of adword value, that way there is a better chance of you getting to the first page of google so that you can get visitors. Remember, good revenue=traffic + adword value.

A word of warning however before we go further!

The problem with trying to find high paying adsense keywords is most people don't realise that whilst it is easy to find the keywords, it does take a reasonable amount of both time and work to make them pay out. You must not try and fool Google, for example! Many people try to fool Google into displaying ads on their sites which have nothing to do with their webpages. Whilst this is quite hard to do on hubpages, if not impossible, the highest paying adsense keywords can be triggered remarkably easily by using simple scripting to dictate to google where it's algorithm should begin reading, and where it should stop reading.

So, if you have a webpage about fish, but you want to trigger ads about finance (the highest paying google adsense keywords around) then you might say something like, "it is advisable on the largest fishtanks to get some home finance since they are very expensive." You would set your script to bracket this one sentence.

And if you do, beware, because Google has claws (it's not a tame beast!). You will get slapped out of their quicker than you can blink. Remember the purpose of Google is to provide a great user experience: that people should search for a product and find it, and that if they click a link they should at least be interested in the website they have clicked through to with a potential of buying. In which case both the advertiser and the searcher will benefit.

It benefits no one if the ads displayed on a page of fish have to do with finance.

The ridiculous thing is it only takes about 10 minutes to determine which is the better converter, and which is the better paying top adsense keywords. Using tools like google keyword tool, and Spyfu.com, plus a nice little piece of software from a guy called Jonas and his free software that analyses commercial intent, you can work out what will be best for you.

And that will make a difference. You will get page views, and you will get more money per click. And if you rack that up, even at only one click conversion per day, 50 cents is a lot better than 1 cent a time! Multiply that over a year (call it 300) and you have the difference between $3 and $150…all for an extra 10 minutes work! (and yes, this is just an example, results differ, not typical blah blah blah!). Multiply that over 10 hubs and…well you can work out the rest.

So don’t be lazy, invest time in learning how to do keyword research so that it’s natural and you can do it without thinking, and put in an extra few minutes per article and you will find that your conversions are a lot better. Get digging for those top paying adsense keywords NOW!
